Alyonka Mail Art Project

Creative people from around the world are invited to make artworks with the image of Alyonka, a well-known Russian chocolate brand. Works are collected by Ivan Zemtsov (P.O. BOX 28 YOSHKAR-OLA 424037 RUSSIA) and posted there. The first "Alyonka" show was presented to public in Yoshkar-Ola Museum of Fine Arts in October 2006 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kk9ruvAzT5M). Article on mail art and Alyonka Project published last month in "Nizhnekamskoye Vremya" newspaper. The article is illustrated by mail artworks created by Russian artists Olga Sorokina, Valery Shimanovsky (Nizhnekamsk, Tatarstan) and Ivan Zemtsov (Yoshkar-Ola, Mari El Republic).
