Some photos connected with mail art activity during summer vacation. They were made in Pereslavl-Zalessky, Rostov the Great and Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia:

Mail artist Tatyana "Matata" Makarova at the entrance of the nearest post office (unfortunately closed that day). Pereslavl-Zalessky.

Next day. Tatyana Makarova is sending her richly decorated envelopes and post cards to mail artists around the world.

Letter box in Pereslavl-Zalessky. The picture was made for Fabrice Fosse as a contribution to her "Dog" mail art project.

Signing post cards in the cafe-shop situated on the territory of Rostov Kremlin. One of the cards was sent to Denis Charmot, Marnaz, France.

The famous Denis Charmor's sticker has decorated the fence of one of the monasteries of Rostov the Great.

One more photo for Denis.

Glass-holder with the image of Sputnik. The photo was made in the Museum of Tea-Kettles, Pereslavl-Zalessky. It will appear on my Sputnik blog as well.

Making mail art collage from what was found and collected during the trip.

Sending envelopes and cards from the central post office of Pereslavl-Zalessky. The postal girls were greatly astonished by what they had to deal with. I presented them with "Alyonka Mail Art Show" booklets.

Front side and reverse of the envelope sent from Pereslavl-Zalessky to mail artist Valery Shimanovsky, Nizhnekamsk, Russia.

The picture made in one of commercial centres of Nizhniy Novgorod specially for comics inker Jose Marzan and his wife Galina, Florida, USA.

Dear mail art friends! I have been traveling together with my wife Valentina since July 28. Yesterday we came back to Yoshkar-Ola. During this amazing and unforgettable trip we visited such beautiful Russian cities as Pereslavl-Zalessry, Rostov, Nizhny Novgorod, Kstovo and Cheboksari. We met mail artists Tatyana Makarova (Pereslavl-Zalessky) and Alex Nasekin (Cheboksari). Valentina had an opportunity to see her sister Elena Kydryashova (Kstovo). As I'm still on vacation, next week I'll have time to post some photos from this trip.

Today I came to the post office to check my p. o. box. This is what I found there! More than twenty nice envelops and cards! I'm afraid, it will take some time to register all the sendings, to open the envelopes, to read the letters, to scan the artworks. But be sure that sooner or later all of them will appear on Alyonka or/and Sputnik blogs. Today I just would like to thank you! Have a nice and fruitful weekend!
