Alyonka Mail Art Project

Creative people from around the world are invited to make artworks with the image of Alyonka, a well-known Russian chocolate brand. Works are collected by Ivan Zemtsov (P.O. BOX 28 YOSHKAR-OLA 424037 RUSSIA) and posted there. The first "Alyonka" show was presented to public in Yoshkar-Ola Museum of Fine Arts in October 2006 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kk9ruvAzT5M). In May 2006 two members of Nizhnekamsk creative group SHIrMA - Tatyana Makarova and Valery Simanovsky - visited Yoshkar-Ola with "RAcourse" exhibition. Of course, they couldn't help using the opportunity to sent mail artworks from Yoshkar-Ola.
