Alyonka Mail Art Project

Creative people from around the world are invited to make artworks with the image of Alyonka, a well-known Russian chocolate brand. Works are collected by Ivan Zemtsov (P.O. BOX 28 YOSHKAR-OLA 424037 RUSSIA) and posted there. The first "Alyonka" show was presented to public in Yoshkar-Ola Museum of Fine Arts in October 2006 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kk9ruvAzT5M). A month ago I received a letter from mail artist Johannes J. Musolf, Braunfels/Lahn, Germany. In the package I found a documentary film about Sputnik and space investigations on DVD issued by Der Spiegel magazin. Besides there were two original collages created by Johannes during 2007 - "Fireplace" and "Vibration of Stability".
